Vehicle servicing isn’t a legal requirement, unlike the annual MOT test, but a vehicle which hasn’t been serviced appropriately and regularly won’t perform as it should, and any problems are far less likely to be identified early before they become serious.

At Martin's Auto Services, we service all makes and models – including electric and hybrid models – whether in or out of manufacturer warranty. Many vehicle owners still think they need to use a main dealer for servicing during their manufacturer warranty period, but this hasn’t been the case since 2003. We will service your car or van exactly as the manufacturer’s servicing schedule dictates, using only genuine, approved parts, oils, and fluids, and any remaining warranty will remain intact.

For older vehicles which are no longer subject to manufacturer warranty servicing conditions, Martin's Auto Services offers, broadly speaking, two post-warranty servicing levels: Major and Interim. For cars and vans doing average annual mileage, we recommend alternating these service levels every 12/24 months. If significantly higher or lower annual mileage is driven, a bespoke servicing schedule for your vehicle can be arranged.
